About Me and This Website

Hello and welcome! My name is Speed, and I’m from the US. I’ve created this website to solve a Spanish language learning problem I was having during my studies as a native English speaker learning Argentine Spanish. The problem was that Spanish content online is organized into two major categories: Latin American Spanish and Spain Spanish. While this is generally not a bad separation, the truth is that if you want to learn a specific dialect like Rioplatense Spanish (Spanish from Argentina and Uruguay primarily), you would have to go searching on your own to find that content within the Latin American category. This takes precious time away from immersion, and it can be incredibly challenging to find that content organized.

I always wanted a single website I could go to just find content from a specific country. That way I could not only find more content to immerse in, but I could also save time not having to look up each individual show, book, movie, etc. to see if that content was from the country’s dialect I was learning (Argentine Spanish). Hopefully, this website can save you time and make your learning experience more efficient as well! My plan is to continue adding content to this website and continually make it a better experience to help you learn Spanish.
